In the Spirit of Memorial Day
Every year, on the last Monday in May, the calendar is marked with a very special day: Memorial Day. A large part of the population uses Memorial Day to mark the beginning of summer, but that’s not what it’s all about. Memorial Day is a reminder that we live in a free country. We exercise freedom of speech, we can practice religion, and everyone has the equal rights. This reminder of freedom comes at a great cost. It cost the lives of men and women, both abroad and at home, to preserve our rights and freedoms. This Memorial Day, find a way to honor the fallen. Visit a war veterans’ cemetery or observe a ceremony. Such a small sacrifice of time is all it is – unlike the sacrifice all those military personnel gave in years past to ensure you can live in a free country.
Jay Wolfe Honda Celebrates Memorial Day
To honor those who gave their lives in service to their country, the staff at Jay Wolfe Honda say thanks. And as a small token of appreciation – a reminder of the gift given from fallen heroes – Jay Wolfe Honda is donating to the members of our Armed Forces and their families. For every New and Pre-Owned vehicle sold throughout the whole month of May, a portion of the proceeds will go directly to meet the needs of active and retired military personnel and their families.
