The 2017 Ridgeline from Honda Offers More Than Just Singing Sheep

2017 Honda Ridgeline

If you watched the latest Super Bowl, then chances are you saw the ad for the new Honda Ridgeline pickup truck. It was a fun commercial, and it had singing sheep in it. But you may be left with the question, what’s the 2017 Honda Ridgeline actually going to be like? Let’s take a look.

Features

The first feature of the Honda Ridgeline is one you’ll recognize if you saw the commercial: The entire bed of the truck becomes an RTL-E Black Edition audio system. You can play music through it from any source or device. It’s great for things like tailgate parties. And speaking of tailgates, one of the other prominent features, which is unique to the Ridgeline, is a dual action tailgate. That means it not only folds down, but also opens to the side, like a door. That way, you can access whatever you have stored in the truck’s bed without having to lean over the tailgate. And in addition to the regular bed, the new Ridgeline also has a trunk. Yes, a pickup truck with a trunk. The front portion of the bed opens up, revealing an extra storage space, where can put extra gear, or things you’d rather keep safe from the elements. Or if you want, you can fill the entire trunk with ice and use it as a cooler. It has a drain plug at the bottom, to get rid of the water once you’re done. And if you need even MORE storage space, there’s some in the cabin. The rear seats fold down, creating a perfect space for large and awkward items, like bicycles, or giant boxes. Or you can use it to store groceries, if you’d rather not throw them in the bed. Whatever you use it for, the new Ridgeline is bound to make a splash. It’s perfect for things like campouts. Put the tent gear in the back of the cabin. Put your bags in the bed. Keep the food cool in the trunk. Then when you get there, crank the tunes and have a party.
